Cleveland Advertising Agency Launches ChangeFor20.com
(CLEVELAND, OH) Instead of just sending out the annual batch of holiday cards to its clients this year, Point to Point advertising and marketing has launched a website to send a message of hope to the world.
ChangeFor20.com was born when Point to Point President and CEO Mark D. Goren gave each of his employees a $20 bill and a simple set of rules. “I told them to take the money and touch someone’s life with it. And to document the experience to inspire more people to do the same,” Goren said.
ChangeFor20.com is a blog-style site that features a range of videos and articles on how Point to Point employees and others creatively used $20 to spread kindness. One participant bought $20 worth of fabric to make blankets for Project Linus, a non-profit organization that provides handmade blankets and afghans to children in need. Another video shows a man helping a stranger at a gas station by putting $20 of fuel into her tank. ChangeFor20.com also allows visitors to submit their own videos and stories to be featured on the site.
“With the recession and so many other challenges facing our country, we felt it was imperative to use our creativity in an organic, positive way,” Goren said. “Once we started ChangeFor20.com, we were amazed at the profound impact ordinary people can have with just $20.”
