Marketing Analyst Intern Are you curious about what drives success? Are you interested in measuring success? Do you like solving problems? Do you understand and enjoy marketing? If you can answer yes to these questions, then we should talk.

Point to Point, a nationally recognized advertising agency located in Beachwood, OH, has an opportunity for a Marketing Analyst Intern. The position will support ongoing analysis efforts.

You will learn how to put multiple interactive metrics together, including web analytics, to evaluate marketing effectiveness. Under the supervision of the media director, you will support and participate in measurement and analysis of various marketing activities. You will gain valuable experience needed to effectively work in an advertising agency.

Requirements:

• Critical thinking
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel with proven experience developing and managing complex models
• Understand API’s and how to integrate disparate data sources
• Ability to observe trends in data and interpret into recommendations than can be acted upon
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Solid written and interpersonal communication skills
• Sense of curiosity and ability to think through complex problems
• Positive, “whatever it takes” attitude
• Applicants must:
  • Be a college junior, senior or MBA student with a major in Marketing, Business Analysis, or related field
  • Have had at least one internship, or relevant job experience
  • Be involved in at least one extracurricular activity at school or in the community

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Database management
• Strong, demonstrated working knowledge of the web

Time Commitment:

This is a fall/winter internship beginning in October 2009, with flexibility to accommodate student’s schedule if necessary. Ideally, the intern must commit a minimum of 20-30 hours per week. College credits are available if necessary.

Social Media Intern Point to Point is looking for an intern to assist with our social media efforts, starting mid-September. If you are social media savvy, live in the Cleveland area and are looking to build your portfolio, we're interested in learning more about you.

Requirements

• College junior, senior, recent graduate, or graduate student
• An in-depth knowledge of and much experience with social media
• A passion for continuous learning
• Strong writing and communication skills
• A history of high achievement
• Must be a highly organized multi-tasker
• Must be able to work independently
